Paula Lima Matoso

Paula Lima Matoso of Angola serves as a Board Member of Paddle Africa. She is also President of the Angolan Federation of Nautical Sports and a member of the Executive Commission of the Angolan Olympic Committee. 

In 2025, Paula led the Organising Committee of the African Canoe Sprint Championships in Luanda, bringing together athletes and National Federations from across the continent for one of Paddle Africa's major competitions. 

Alongside her sporting responsibilities, Paula brings extensive professional experience in marketing and brand management within multinational corporations. She has spent more than a decade with The Coca-Cola Company and currently holds a senior marketing leadership role in Angola, bringing expertise in strategy, partnerships, communication and major project delivery to her work in sport. 

Within CAC, she contributes this combination of sport leadership and corporate experience to the governance, visibility and continued development of African paddle sport.
