General Ahmed Kamel

General Ahmed Kamel of Egypt serves as Second Vice President of Paddle Africa, following his election in December 2025. 

He is President of the Egyptian Canoe & Kayak Federation and a member of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, bringing extensive national and Olympic Movement experience to his continental role. Under his leadership, Egypt has continued to strengthen its position as an important centre for paddlesport in Africa. 

Within Paddle Africa, he supports the development of paddle sport across the continent, contributing to stronger National Federations, increased participation and more opportunities for African athletes, coaches and officials. He also supports closer cooperation between CAC, its members and international partners to further the growth and visibility of African paddlesport.
